Extreme clarity huh?

 

Today my horoscope said the following:

Everyone makes mistakes once in a while, so don't be too rough on yourself today. It's easy to assume that people will get just what you mean--even family and friends. Today, though, it's tough to get your point across no matter how well people know you--so go for extreme clarity.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!

Wow. I thought i was usually pretty clear in making sure people didn't make asses of themselves by assuming they knew what i meant or said about something. And because we are all imperfect humans, there is always one ass that rises above all the other asses. Sometimes i'm known to be a cold-hearted person when it comes to dishing out sympathy. I dunno it's just finds a way to come out the way it does. I hate when people get me or my thoughts/words wrong so i try to make sure i'm clear in what i say.

And as we all know, life doesn't happen that way. Oh well. My horoscope made me think about a recent conversation that just made me wanna slap somebody

Him: Are you seeing anybody?

technically i'm not. we are just f******.

Me: no i'm not and i'm not interested in seeing anyone right now. I'm just trying to focus on being me again. You know--Tweety.

Him: Well, can we talk about dating then?

Extreme silence follows.

Him : hello?

Me: I'm still here. What did you need to know about dating? (playin stupid b\c now i'm frustrated)

Him: Whether we can date.

Me: Right. I'm gon call you back b\c the game is on ok?

Him : Cool. Call me when it goes off.

Me: Yea, i'll call you when the series is over. Bye.

Extreme clarity huh? WTF.
